Precisely because of these characteristics, the “Capri” jacket was preferred by wealthy people, who wore it on their “island” vacations. These qualities made the “Capri” jacket a wealthy people’s absolute must-have when spending time on the famous island.
This deconstructed version of a classic was therefore called “A giacchett’ e’ Capri”, Capri’s jacket. Years later, Sicignano tailoring company decided to start a project based on that old paper pattern, after adapting it to current trends.
After much effort and perseverance, a modern interpretation of the jacket,
which today we know as GiCapri, was born.
