Semicouture
was born from a project by Erika Cavallini who decided to add a new idea to her collection, starting from her origins - as her name clearly suggests - and more precisely from her debut brand in 2009.
It is no coincidence that the designer decided to concretely start from "item No.1", the first dress she designed seven years ago now: the true beginning of the history of Semicouture.
The name is fascinating in itself, stolen from the intermediate test mannequins, timidly distant from the "whole" couture, looked at with great respect.
A name that is somehow already procedural, which evokes garments that are not entirely finished, full of poetic imperfections
An all-Italian manufacture created in the smallest detail, always in the "Fast Fashion" philosophy, conceived by her, for a fashion, in complete harmony with the time in which we live: fast, changeable, intense and where nothing makes more sense than passion , as she herself is keen to underline.
