Semicouture was born from a project by Erika Cavallini who decided to add a new idea to her collection
starting from her origins – as she clearly suggests her name – and more precisely from her debut brand in 2009.
It is no coincidence that the designer has decided to start again concretely from the "garment No.1",
the first dress designed seven years ago: the real beginning of the Semicouture story.
The name is in itself fascinating, stolen from the intermediate test mannequins,
timidly far from the "whole" couture, looked at with great respect.
A name in some way already procedural, which evokes not entirely finished garments,
full of poetic imperfections.
